Year 6 had a surprise visit from Herrings Green Bird of Prey Centre today to bring our writing unit on Skellig to a close. We were able to hold a kestrel and a southern-white faced owl. We saw a Harris hawk and a Cape eagle-owl flying. We learnt some amazing facts about owls and birds of prey.
